Stoughton Reads Together-Female Changemakers in Stoughton History In-Person
Dwight MacKerron from the Stoughton Historical Society will discuss some of the women in Stoughton history that have made a significant impact in town.
Debra Sampson, who served in the Revolutionary War, educator Susan Clapp Bradley;
early photographer Mary L. B. Capen Reynolds; social worker/author Bertha Reynolds,
Girl Scout pioneer Alice Magee; & Josephine Crawford of Packard Manse who ran summer camps
& an orphanage for African-American children at “Whispering Willows” in Stoughton.
This Stoughton Reads Together 2025 required registration.
