Al Pacino: An Actor We Can't Refuse, with Frank Mandosa In-Person / Online
Stoughton film historian takes a look at the long and storied film career of Al Pacino.
Al Pacino is a well-known method actor who studied under Lee Strasberg, a pioneer of the method acting technique. This training is evident in his authentic performances, such as his portrayal of Sonny in Dog Day Afternoon. Pacino published his memoir 'Sonny Boy' in 2024.
This program will take place both in person and on Zoom. Films to be discussed include: Dog Day Afternoon, The Godfather, Serpico, Scent of a Woman, Scarface, Any Given Sunday...
